A Park City, Utah veteran of 38 years, Dr. Donald Cofer came to the mountain town back in 1970 to work as a ski instructor. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1981 from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, California, and continued his postgraduate studies, to become a Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedist, as well as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.

Upon completion of his studies, Dr. Cofer settled permanently in Park City, Utah – where he has successfully combined his love for sports and medicine, and has served as the consulting team physician for both the Park City Masters Alpine Ski Racing Team and the Park City Freestyle Team. 


Between helping athletes and every-day-people, Dr. Cofer can be found competitively ski racing in the Masters division, skeleton racing, windsurfing, mountain biking or surfing. In addition to his successful practice, Dr. Cofer holds his pilot’s license and finds joy in flying away on weekend trips with his wife and two dogs.

Professional affiliations include: A.C.A. Sports Council, American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists, U.C.P.A., Professional Ski Instructors of America, and Private Pilots Association.


Scott Sato, D.C.

Dr. Scott Sato was born & raised in Hawaii. There he acquired an appreciation for the outdoors that transitioned well for his move to the beautiful state of Utah. In 2002, Dr. Sato earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah in the study of Exercise & Sports Science.

In 2005 Dr. Sato received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, in San Jose California. While there he was an active member of the American Chiropractic Association’s Sport’s Council where he was involved in popular sporting events, like the Sea Otter Classic and the Highland Games in Northern California.  

Dr. Sato is a certified spinal decompression practitioner and Kinesiotape specialist.  Other professional interests include sports injury management, athletic performance enhancement, and non-surgical disc repair & rehabilitation.  

When not helping his patients, Dr. Sato enjoys playing golf, snowboarding, surfing, cooking, and spending time with his wife Andrea and daughter Sydney.
